Mad About Manga Ecourse
I have always wanted to be a great cartoonist, and manga has always been my favorite type. The emotion and and action portrayed in manga has always piqued my interest, and I really look up to artists who have done manga like Full Metal Alchemist and Ghost In The Shell.
Unfortunately, my artistic skill has always been quite lacking. I had never been able to draw the expressions and action that manga is known for showing. Manga artists do a great job of making a single page show a lot of action, and that has always been a goal of mine as well.
The most frustrating part of my learning to draw manga is that no matter how hard I practiced I never seem to get any better. I drew every day and did not see any results.
That was, until I finally gave in and bought lessons by a man named Malcolm Matheson. His lessons are titled Mad About Manga and it truly has been the reason that I have finally been able to become a good manga artist. The great part is that it isn’t just a book with diagrams, it shows you how to draw all the expression and action that manga is famous for. After I completed these lessons, I was truly able to bring out the emotion in my illustrations that I have been striving for for years.
Another fantastic part of the Mad About Manga course is that not only does it teach you how to draw individual scenes, but how to truly tell a story with your artwork. If you can really bring out emotion and excitement with your illustrations, you can really get an emotional investment from your readers. My friends and family are amazed at the scenes and stories I have been able to tell using my illustrations.
